Overcoming restrictions of mechanical sensor-based systems
RealSet uses a combination of two rigidly attached cameras: a studio broadcast camera and a small tracking camera which shoots the studio pattern and is mounted on top of the studio camera. The grid, which can be in any color, does not have to be part of the studio back wall. It is mounted behind the cameraman, on a side wall or on the ceiling. You can position virtual objects in front of or beside the real objects and you can move your cameras to any spot in the studio. The operation is done in real-time, using Orad's software to generate and render the graphic effects in real-time.
RealSet's capabilities draw on CyberSet's proprietary pattern recognition technology, which is in operation with leading broadcasters worldwide. RealSet is able to analyze the video image signal of the grid, overcoming the restrictions of mechanical sensor-based systems. You can integrate virtual characters, graphics, opaque or transparent overlays in every conventional studio setting.
