| South Indian Film Festival in China - DTS Rules again |
The South Indian Film Chamber has organized a Film festival to be held in Beijing, China in August - September 2004. At a press release, the Film Chamber chief K.Devivaraprasad said, "In order to improve the standard of South Indian cinema and from a business point of view, movies produced in India are being sent to China. The Chinese government has given us full co-operation on this aspect."
Some of the movies selected to be featured in the festival are Autograph, Virumaandi, Ghillli, Dhool, Peralagan and Thiruda Thirudi in Tamil, Varsham, Tagore, Lakshmi Narasimha in Telugu, War And Love and Excuse Me and Mala in Kannada. All the above movies are on DTS.
