Chennai based Real Image Media Technologies (RIMT) emerged a winner when Mani Ratnam chose them to make Guru in digital format.
And the icing on the cake was when Guru was premiered at the prestigious Elgin Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto on Qube Cinema- the digital format from RIMT.
With Guru, Qube initiated digital screening of Indian films in North America. Cinemas in Chicago and Detroit are screening an Indian film digitally for the first time, adding another feather to Real Image's cap. Qube Cinema is already powering over 50 screens in North America and is soon poised to reach over 300 screens soon, opening up the huge potential for Indian cinema in this key market.
Guru also released in 40 Qube theatres in India including Chennai's Ega and Kasi.
