Digidesign Development Partners To Showcase Pro Tools|HD Accel Plug-in at AES

All Digidesign TDM plug-ins as well as most Plug-Ins distributed by Digidesign have been optimized for Pro Tools|HD Accel and will be on display at AES. An update software CD of these new Pro Tools|HD Accel Plug-Ins will ship free with new systems.

Ed Gray, Digidesign's Director of Partnering Programs comments, "Pro Tools|HD Accel gives you dramatically more processing power. We're excited to have the Digidesign and Third Party plug-ins we manufacture ready for this new platform on Mac OS X and Windows XP. Digidesign is working closely with our development partners to deliver a new generation of TDM Plug-Ins that are not only compatible with Pro Tools|HD Accel, but also capable of more instance counts, higher sample rates and new types of processes previously unavailable on Pro Tools or other systems.

In addition to Digidesign TDM Plug-Ins, the following Development Partners' have also released Plug-Ins for Pro Tools|HD Accel: Access Music, Aphex Systems, Dolby Laboratories, Drawmer, Focusrite Audio, Ltd., Sonic Solutions, Waves, Iris S.A. (DUY), Sony Oxford Group, Cranesong, and Eventide, Inc. Additional Pro Tools|HD Accel Plug-Ins are under development by McDSP, Wave Mechanics, Massenburg DesignWorks, Bomb Factory, INA-GRM, TC|Works, and Emagic. New products will be on display at AES, including Eventide Reverb and OctoVox, McDSP Chrome Tone, Sony Oxford Transient Modulator, Princeton Digital Reverb, Waves Transform Bundle and Cranesong Phoenix.

Emagic has also released their HD Accel compatible versions of Logic (6.3.1), the Epic TDM bundle, available via download on their website at http://www.emagic.de/support/download/index.php?lang=EN.
