Personally approved by Andrew Roberts of Purple Audio Inc., the Bomb Factory PurpleTM Audio MC77 plug-in is a spot-on digital replica of his MC77 Limiting Amplifier.

Roberts introduced his MC76 - the predecessor to the MC77 - many years before other 1176 re-issues appeared in the marketplace. It sold steadily for years before being recently updated and renamed the MC77.

Bomb Factory went to great lengths to recreate the MC77 in software form, modeling every nuance from scratch. Between the Bomb Factory 1176 and the Purple Audio MC77, you have a choice of two distinctly different sounding Bomb Factory FET limiting amplifiers.
