Soft SampleCell is a host-based software sample player and editor for Macintosh computers that allows you to do everything you can with a SampleCell II Plus card and more - without any hardware. Soft SampleCell supports playback of up to 24-bit audio files, features a new, smooth-sounding 4-pole resonant lowpass filter, allows you to store up to 1 Gigabyte* of samples in your computer's RAM, offers powerful integration options for Pro Tools and Pro Tools LE systems, and can even be run right alongside one or more SampleCell II cards.

When used with DirectConnect (included Free with all Pro Tools software), Soft SampleCell not only supports total recall of all your banks and instruments, it allows you to stream up to 32 channels of 24-bit audio right into the Pro Tools mixer - allowing your sample tracks to benefit from the world's best sounding real-time Plug-Ins and automation.
As a stand-alone sample player, Soft SampleCell allows you to output up to 16 channels of analog or digital audio when used with Digidesign audio interfaces or a Digi 001.
